He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Schmoker and Rose Schmoker (Whalen); his siblings, Marilyn Klein (Herb) and Frederick Schmoker; his brother-in-law Gordon Schlueter; and his nephew Michael Klein.

He is survived by: his sisters, Kathy Schlueter and Sharon Schaefer (Bob). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
