With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Allen J. Thurow of Neosho, Wisconsin, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Helmut Thurow and Arbuta Thurow (Lindert); his siblings, Judy Thurow, Mary Tapp, Joan Diels and Earl Thurow; and his nephew Rick Thurow.
He is survived by: his wife Janet Lemke; his children, Tony Thurow (Maria) of Houston, TX, Stephanie Thurow Thurow (Kelvin Dugbo) of Madison and Mike Thurow (Sam Pease) of Neosho; his grandchildren, Ashley Thurow, Alex Thurow and Gabriella Thurow; his stepdaughters, Daisy Davison and Tiffany Davison; his stepgrandson Hunter Zastrow; and his siblings, Dale Thurow, Joyce Thurow, Jane Pluim (Dave) and Ed Thurow (Dorothy Thurow). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Koepsell-Murray Funeral Home (N7199 N Crystal Lake Rd, Beaver Dam, WI 53916). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Al's name may be directed to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or to the MacCanon Brown Homeless Sanctuary, Milwaukee, WI.
