He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Hofmeister and Elvira Hofmeister (Braatz); his brothers, Donald and Tom; his great grandchild Maurice Williams; and his brothers-in-law, Norman Odden, Raymond Zielkie and Lawrence Huppert.
He is survived by: his children, Luci Hedeen (Jason), Bonnie Knutson and Jackie Hofmeister; and his siblings, Joan Odden, Lois Zielkie, Nancy Tschumperlin (Phil), Tim, Kay Huppert, Dawn Hofmeister and Becky Timblin (Joel). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
