He is survived by: his brother David Thompson of Nelson; his nieces, Rebecca Thompson, Beverly Blaylock, Anita Thompson and Mary Dubiel (Gene); and his stepdaughters, Deborah and Renee. He is also survived by 1 great niece and 2 great nephews; 2 great-great nephews.
