He was predeceased by: his parents, George Quist, Sr. and Marion Brathol (Elroy); his brother John Quist; his nephew Scott Quist; and his granddaughter Haley Caturia.
He is survived by: his brother Gary Quist (Kendra); his daughters, Cindy Kruse (Randy), Jacci Quist (Gregg Goulette), Vicky Ahlers (Leonard), Tina Caturia (Bud) and Krystal Sieg (Jim); and his grandchildren, Casey Kusilek (Alyssa), BreeAnna Ahlers, Bailey Ahlers (Austin Brand), Levi Kruse, Derek Goulette (Katy), Luke Caturia, Brandon Caturia, Dakota Pittman, Christine Iehl, Jimmy O'Malley and Dakota Knoll. He is also survived by many great-grandchildren.
