He was predeceased by: his father Glenn Brommer; and his daughter Ashley. He is survived by: his mother Emily Brommer (Hammer); his wife Bobbi Rieck; his daughters, Stephanie Noll (Paul) and Courtney Brommer (Kristin); his granddaughter Elsa Noll; and his siblings, Randy Brommer (Kim), Bruce Brommer (Kelly), Sue Kraehnke (Kurt), Pete Brommer and Heidi Baader (Eric). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
