He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Samelstad and Elsie Samelstad; and his sister Violet. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; and his children, Mark (RoxAnn), Scot (Kathy), Kim and Beth (Eugene). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren.
