Walter Edward Murray Obituary

Walter E. Murray, age 64, of Nekoosa, passed away on Tuesday, October 25, 2022, peacefully in his home.

Walter was born on March 27, 1958, in Wisconsin Rapids, WI to Walter and Dorothy Murray.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He dearly loved his grandchildren and had a heart bigger than he was. He was a loving and selfless person who did anything he could for others. His family and friends will miss him dearly.

Walter is survived by his children, Kelly (Dan) Chandonais of Stevens Point and their children, Kristina, Isabella, Alex, and Hunter; Jeremy Murray of Nekoosa; Jenna (Alfredo) Cuaquetzale of Loyal and their children, Brooklyn and Melina; Wendy (Michael) Zvara of Mukwonago and their children, Journey, Colton, and Calyla; Weston (Jamie) Surak of Clarksville, TN and their children, Johnathan and Ryann; and Whitney (Aaron) Cronkrite and their children, Francis, Silas, and Olive. He is further survived by his siblings, Phyllis (Ron) Millard; Jim (Joyce) Murray; Shawn (Linda) Murray; sister-in-law, Pam Murray; and many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

Walter is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Dorothy Murray; two brothers, Richard Murray and Scott Murray; and step-father George Van Ert.
