With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Robert Allen York of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, born in Mauston, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2024. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence York and Viola York (Pederson); his brother Donald York; and his grandparents, Irwin, Jessie York, Hans and Hilda Pedersen.
He is survived by: his daughter Brenda Nielsen (Johnny); his granddaughter Gracie Nielsen; his stepgranddaughter Emma Nielsen; his sisters, Evelyn Johnston (Larry) and Dee Draeger (Russ); his sister-in-law Barbara (York); his nephews, Scot York (Danielle) and Brent York (Jalane); his godson Richard Draeger; his nieces, Kimberly Draeger-Cleland (Nick) and Tara Johnston; and his nephew Jim Johnston (Laura). He is also survived by many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, other relatives and friends.
