It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Oleson (Nekoosa, Wisconsin), born in Wisconsin Rapids, Wisconsin, who passed away on April 27, 2020, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Oleson and Emma Oleson (Jensen); his wife Janet Wipfli; his sisters, Elaine Cattanach (Gerald) and LaVerne Kauth (Edwin); and his brothers-in-law, Thomas Wipfli and Gary Wipfli (Martha).
He is survived by: his children, Michael Oleson (Dottye) of Elk Mound, Mark Oleson (Kelly) of Lena, IL, Brian Oleson (Michele) of Nekoosa, Brent Oleson (Julie) of Camp Douglas and Marcia Gile (Mitchell) of Nekoosa; his close friend Clara Green; his grandchildren, Traiden (Alicen), Justin (Abbie), Elecia (Craig), Bryndon (Erin), Jori (Jason), Jace, Adam, Rachel Graves (Rodd), Amanda, Emma (Simon), Ben (Amanda), Eric, Zach (Kaylee), Stephanie, Nick Gile (Lisa) and Demi Schwingle (Jesse); his great grandchildren, Stella, Delaney, Ellie, Maggie, Piper, Charles, Henry, Finley, Paige, Francis, Phoebe, Parker, Adria and Payton; his brothers, Henry Oleson (Angie) and Harold Oleson (Karen); and his sister-in-law Janice Wipfli. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
