He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Herman and Colleen Herman (Kratohvil). He is survived by: his wife Tammie; his children, Kristine Herman, Angela Herman, Tara Casas (Dan Herrera), Megan Kaczmarek (Hagen), Brianna Herman and Jake Herman (Danni); his grandchildren, Aaliyah, Jazzmin, Cortez, Luka, Jayden, Beckett and Ripp; his great grandchild Emberlynn; his siblings, Don Nunemaker (Diana), Deb Nelson (Jay) and Bonnie Schultz (Jim); his father-in-law Gary Niesen (Maureen); his siblings-in-law, Gary Niesen (Cathy), Sheryl Meyer (Jim), Kevin Niesen (Elisha) and Alan Foldy (Dalia); and also Pat. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family, which will be donated to a local outdoor education program for youth in Wisconsin in Rick's name.
