She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Joseph Klein and Irene Eleanore Rucinski; the father of her children Marshall Shear, Jr.; her brother Donald L. Klein; her sister-in-law Shirley Klein (Bauer); and her close friend Doris Jardine.
She is survived by: her husband Marshall T. Shear, Jr.; her children, Michael Shear of Nekoosa, Robert Shear (Patricia) of Nekoosa, John Shear (Kathleen) of Chippewa Falls, Gary Shear (Robin) of Chippewa Falls, Larry Shear of Pittsville and Susan Shear of Nekoosa; her grandchildren, Monica Shear (Dan Granmo) of Chippewa Falls, Dr. Melissa Shear (Mackenzie Kilness) of Madison, Laci Meservey of Elk Mound, Leon of Chippewa Falls, Eleanor of Chippewa Falls, Theodore of Chippewa Falls, Jay of Chippewa Falls and Clara Shear of Chippewa Falls; her brother Richard J. Klein of Nekoosa; her sister-in-law Donna Klein (Lipar) of Nekoosa; her niece Lori Klein of Nekoosa; her nephew Charles "Chuck" Klein (Patti) of Marshfield; and her friend Chris Jardine of Nekoosa.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Mary's name to the family.
