With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marlene G. Hamel of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, who passed away on October 9, 2021 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Oleson and Minnie Oleson; her spouse Dale Hamel; and her siblings, Donald Oleson, Kenneth Oleson, Bernard Oleson and Beverly Dhein.

She is survived by: her children, Alan Hamel (Sue) of Nekoosa and Melody Weslaski (Jim) of Wisconsin Rapids; her brothers, Melvin and Gary Oleson of Arizona; and her grandchildren, Brandy Christianson, Jenn Weslaski-Probst, Dan Hamel, Greg Hamel, Drew Hamel and Holly Hennlich. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
