He is survived by: his children, John Van Meter (Dawn) of Necedah, WI, Connie Henke (Michael) of Nekoosa, WI and Bonnie Van Meter of Nekoosa, WI; his grandchildren, Jeremy Van Meter (Anna) of Waunakee, WI, Kristin Cross (Tim) of Necedah, WI and Ashley Gotz of Wis; and his great grandchildren, Finley, River, Jake Thomas, Michael, Luke, Ella, Emma, Alex and Austin. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
