LaVine J. Shortell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of LaVine J. Shortell of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, who passed away on February 15, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Shortell and Edythe Shortell (Starks); his wife Caroline Shortell; and his siblings, LeRoy Shortell, LuWayne Shortell, Lela Lubeck and Leatryce Barrett.

He is survived by: his children, Jim Shortell, Todd Shortell (Tamaralyn) and Wendy Bendickson (Arnie); and his sister Lola Becker. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in LaVine's name to the family.
