He is survived by: his children, Jessica Nakai, Myra Nakai, Cionazi Nakai and Taahnazhi Nakai; his grandchildren, Mariah Thompson, Miyako Thompson and Tasuna Thompson; his father Dick Nakai; and his siblings, Irene Fruit, Richard Nakai and Casper Nakai.
