He was predeceased by: his parents, John Peterson and Gladys Peterson (Bates); his daughter June Murphy; his brothers, Ralph Peterson and George "Bud" Peterson; his sister-in-law Marilynn Peterson; and his granddaughter Melissa Peterson.
He is survived by: his wife Alice Gaden; his children, Roger Peterson (Deb Kuhn) of Wisconsin Rapids, John Peterson (Lori) of Wisconsin Rapids, Mike Peterson (Chris) of Wisconsin Rapids and Nancy Cattanach (Brian) of Wisconsin Rapids; his son-in-law Ed Murphy; his grandchildren, Daidra Murphy, Brooklyn Callaway (Keith), Alicia Schoeman (Justin), Charmaine O'Kane (Liam), Katie Hanneman (Eric Gildenzoph), Athena Boardman (Shaun), Shauna Scholl (Zach) and Becca Vavrina (Taylor); and his sister-in-law Arlene Peterson.
