He is survived by: his children, Jeff Schmidt (Lisa), Kimberly Walrath (Don), Kyle Schmidt (Kim) and Jamie Schmidt; his stepchildren, Mark Olson (Andrea) and Tracy Young; his grandchildren, Phil Schmidt (Celina), Ben Schmidt, Chris Schmidt (Abbie), Taylor Johnson Jr., D'Mytria Robinson, Lorby Olson, Danika Young, Gabrielle Young and Jake Young; and his siblings-in-law, Diane Schmidt, Della Humphrey (Bill) and Richard Cook (Roxanne). He is also survived by 4 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
