He was predeceased by: his parents, Arnold Maeder and Ruth Maeder (Miller); his brother John Maeder; his former wife Veronica "Petie" Maeder; his siblings-in-law, George Wilhorn, Ronald Dusenske, Richard Dusenske, Eldon Nickel, Charlotte Nickel and Janice Allen; and his nephew Thomas Maeder.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia A. Dusenske; his sister Mary Ann Wilhorn (Susie); his siblings-in-law, Ron Allen and Danene Dusenske; his nieces and nephews, Roger Wilhorn (Sara), Todd Maeder (Renee), Randy Nickel (Brenda), Jim Allen (Mary), Daren Dusenske (Betsy), Jason Dusenske (Amye), Cheryle Nickel and Susan Lenius (Stephen); and his niece-in-law Laura Maeder. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.
In-lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Maeder family for a future donation to the Pittsville VFW Sportsman's Night Gun Raffle.
