He was predeceased by: his parents, George John and Clara Magdeline Steber (Fonek); and his sisters, Carol Zoern (Donald) and Janet Pagel (Leonard). He is survived by: his wife Betty Klitz; his daughters, Joy Steber (David LaRock), Jill Nickel (Craig) and Karen McCaigue; his grandchildren, Kyle, Corey (Jess), Kurt (Lisa), Calvin, Karla and Kelsey (Roger); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Olivia, Clara, Noelle, Finley and Zoey; and his siblings, John Steber (Dorothy), Elizabeth Mugavero, Joan Waldvogel, Helen Mason (Eugene) and Barbara Boettcher (Thomas). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
