He was predeceased by: his parents, Kinley "Bud" Brandt and Cecelia Bor Brandt; his siblings, Gene Brandt, Delores Rusch, Shirley Erickson, Pat Erickson and Jim Brandt; his siblings-in-law, Mike Gibeaut, Mike Rusch, Len Erickson, Carol Gibeaut and Norma Brandt (John Thomas); and his great-niece Katie.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Gibeaut; his nephew Matthew Horkan; his daughter Laura Brandt; his siblings-in-law, Merle Erickson, Dave Gibeaut, Bernice Brandt, Joan Mortimer (Dennis) and Mary Horkan (Tim); and his grandsons, Jay, Marshall, Frank and Ollie. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
