With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Deborah Schmitt of Nekoosa, Wisconsin, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 9, 2024 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, David Peckham and Theresa Strasburg (Gunther); her stepfather Michael Strasburg; her father-in-law Linus Schmitt; and her siblings, Veronica Strasburg and David Strasburg.
She is survived by: her husband Randy Schmitt; her children, Dustin Schmitt (Alicia), Kyle Schmitt and Shaena Schmitt; her siblings, Barbara Garvey (George), Scott Peckham (Shawn) and Brian Seehafer (Jennifer); her stepmother Patricia Peckham; her mother-in-law Joan Schmitt; her siblings, Brian Schmitt (Toni) and Pat Schmitt (Sandy); her stepsisters, Erica Emerson and Kristine Paulowski; and her siblings, Joe Strasburg (Pam), Jim Strasburg (Natalia), Dan Strasburg, Jessica Strasburg, Jacob Strasburg, Jonathan Strasburg and Jasmine Thomas (Jared). She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and family friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Herman-Taylor Funeral Home (2201 Chestnut St, Wisconsin Rapids, WI 54494). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
