He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Colby and Vivian Colby (Moore); and his wife Monika Jarchow Colby. He is survived by: his children, David Colby (Kim Bires), Elisabeth Olson (Walter), Daniel Colby and Marina Colby (Leah Thayer); his grandchildren, Jessica Gustin (Jeremy), Kristin Segovia (Abraham), Brittany Stark (Joseph), Holly Krueger (Ty), Autumn Olson and Grayce Colby; and his sister Rita Remmenga (Al). He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
