Daniel H. Schanes Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 4, 2024, at the age of 79, Daniel H. Schanes (Nekoosa, Wisconsin) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Schanes and Isabelle Schanes (Fitzgerald); his brother-in-law Mike Murray; and his brother Kenny Abel. He is survived by: his children, Sean Schanes (Kim Cronkrite) and Kara Schanes (Mark Mahoney); his former wife Susan Rose Bottensek; and his siblings, Judy Murray of Anacortes Island, Heidi Timm (William) of Necedah, Charles Schanes (Cathy) of Cherry Valley, IL and Jerry Abel (Cindy) of Necedah, WI. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family would love contributions to be made to Never Forgotten Honor Flight.
