He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Howard Heckman and Carol Heckman (Buchanan); his wife Maxine Shippee; his sons, Dylan (Kellie Pfeifer-Heckman) and Jed (Elizabeth Morgan); his former wife Pamela Dorn; his daughters, Hannah (Kaleb Merk) and Chloe (Steven Hass); his grandparents, Glenn, Margaret Buchanan, James and Esther Heckman; his uncle Daro Buchanan; his cousin Lynn Schultz; his grandchildren, Elias, Rory Heckman, Eden Delaney, Leo Heckman, Isaac, Ira, Violet Morgan, AtIna and Bentley Merk; his siblings, Leslie Heckman (Marilyn Bennin) and Heidi Heckman (Mark Spittel); his stepmother Betty Heckman (Grunewald); and his parents-in-law, Carole, Gary Dorn and Steve Murat (Diana). He was also cherished by aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, in-laws.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cary's family to be designated at a later date.
