She was predeceased by: her parents, Leon Prine and Agnes Prine (Schaal); and her sisters, Leondra Lentz and Ruthann Kittleson. She is survived by: her husband Jerry Cordes; her sons, Scott Cordes (Kim) of Buffalo Grove, IL and Todd Cordes (Claire) of Marietta, GA; her granddaughter Carly Cordes of Marietta, GA; her nieces and nephews, William, Alan, Aaron Cordes, David, Paul Wickre, Erika Dixon, Chris, Ryan Lentz, Jim Kittleson, Joni Campbell and Julie Kittleson; and her siblings-in-law, Kerwin Cordes (Marilyn), Bob Lentz, Bard Kittleson and Marilyn Wickre.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Carolyn's name to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
