He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Layton (Leona) and Leona Layton; his siblings, Robert Jr. and Diana; and his grandson Oliver.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Layton; his siblings, Richard Layton (Rhonda), Colleen Layton and Debra Olson (Edward); his children, Angela Thompson (Jon), Amy Koran (Alex Stand) and Bruce Layton Jr.; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob Thompson, Jade Kruske (Lucas), Jigwemko Layton and Daniel Koran; and his nephew Scott Layton.
