She was predeceased by: her parents, Fredrick Sternhagen and Marguerite Sternhagen (Taft); her spouse Dowain "Duke" Mindel; her children, Darrell and Pat Thielman; her sons-in-law, John Mansfield and Timothy Wendt; her siblings, Marian Hughes (Clayton), Lloyd Sternhagen (Arlene), Joyce Wilhelmi and Audrey Bailey (Neil); and her brother-in-law Louie Derocher.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Mansfield, Robert Mindel (Victoria), William Mindel (Patty), Kathleen Wendt and Debra Cottrell (Steve); her children-in-law, Joan Mindel and Jim Thielman; her sister Nita Derocher; and her brother-in-law Wally Wilhelmi. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
