He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carlton Bean and Frieda Bean (England); his brothers, Robert Bean (Anna Mae) and Donald Bean; his daughters, Susan Bean and Shela Sweetser; and his parents-in-law, Lawrence and Evelyn Porsche.

He is survived by: his mother-in-law Sandra Porsche; his wife Sandra; his daughters, Sally Robl (Ted) and Linda Gaither; his niece Debra Tarara (Tony); his siblings-in-law, Carol Porsche, Jerry Porsche (Barb) and Kenneth Porsche (Gloria); and the mother of his children Joyce Jackson. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
