He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Marion Dahl, Sr. (Buelen); his daughter Becky Dahl; and his siblings, James Dahl and Janet Ruddy.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his children, Chris Dahl, Kim Delfosse (Roger), Roxanne Ezzard (Mark), Brenda Wilson (Don) and April Dahl; and his brother Terrance Dahl (Gail) of Roseburg, OR.. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; great-great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
