We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2021, at the age of 95, Walter Oppermann in Neenah, Wisconsin passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Frieda Oppermann (Heberer) and Walter A. Oppermann; his wife Joyce Oppermann; his sisters, Jean Rismeyer and June Rathke; and his siblings-in-law, Kathy Oppermann, Ray Rismeyer and Cliff Rathke.

He is survived by: his children, Todd Oppermann, Sue Oppermann and Terry Oppermann (Susan Schneider) of Naperville, IL; his grandchildren, Andrew Oppermann (Sunniva Sortland Halas) and Elise Oppermann; his brother Harold Oppermann; and his siblings-in-law, Ron Flansburg and Jean Flansburg. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Peace Lutheran Church in honor of Wally.
