She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Lopas and Kathryn Lopas; and her husband Paul Schmidt. She is survived by: her sons, Steven Schmidt and Scott Schmidt; her grandsons, Eric Schmidt (Rebecca) and Daniel Schmidt; her great grandchildren, Courtney Schmidt, Leanna Schmidt, Tanner Schmidt, Cassandra Manes (Amanda) and Caitlin Tellock (Aaron); and her great great grandchildren, Indyca Reinke, Chloe Manes, Adrian, Trey and Cyrus Tellock.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
