He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Slawatyniec and Mary Slawatyniec (Dudra); his siblings, Tom Slawatyniec and Carol Rueth; and his siblings-in-law, Pat Rueth, James, Edward, Robert Lane, Carol Slawatyniec and Patricia Hazuga.
He is survived by: his wife Joyce M. Lane; his sons, Frank Slowatyniec, Mike Slowatyniec (Lois) and John Slowatyniec (Roxanne); his grandchildren, Autumn Warning (Kevin), Robert Brendemihl (Lea), Devon Slowatyniec and Isabel Slowatyniec; his great grandchildren, Brayden and Kenley Brendemihl; his brothers, Nick Slawatyniec of Buffalo City, WI and Malin Slawatyniec of Thorp, WI; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Giwojna (Don), Beverly Abramczak (William), Steve Lane (Kim), Donnie Lane (Cindy) and John Hazuga Sr.. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to the VFW Post #1052 in Menasha, WI in memory of "Old George.".
