He was predeceased by: his father Alan Harwood; and his sister Judie Glasgow (Bill). He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Harwood; his daughters, Katharine Barry (John) and Allison Roth (Nate); and his grandchildren, Jake Barry, Ethan Barry, Ella Barry, Henry Roth and Clara Roth.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
