He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Burow and Shirley Burow (Brockhaus); his brother Tommy Burow; his son-in-law Paul Witcpalek; and his nephews, Ryan Burow and Randy Lamb.

He is survived by: his wife Marie Reischl; his daughter Rhonda Burow-Witcpalek; his stepson Brad Kuhr (Ellen); his grandsons, Simon and Dylan Witcpalek; and his siblings, Jeff Burow (Lisa), Steve Burow (Sharon) and Julie Kettner (Ron).
