He was predeceased by: his parents, Gaetono Porto and Annette Porto (Krause); his parents-in-law, Joseph "Jake" and Ernestine Jakubek; his sister-in-law Debbie Jakubek; and his nephew Peter Bork.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia, Bryan (Michelle), Kevin (Jina) and Teresa (Tim Hendrickson); his grandchildren, Benjamin, Lillian, Isaac, Ethan and Andrew; his sister Patricia Bork (Richard); and his former wife Mary. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund will be established.
