She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Bodde and Anglina Bodde (Bowers); her husband William Van Linn; and her grandson Ricky Calhoun. She is survived by: her children, Gary Van Linn (Mary), Vicky Van Linn, Terry (John), Julie Samida (Bob) and Jesse Van Linn (Kathy Samida); her grandchildren, Dr. Michael Van Linn (Lesley), Steven Van Linn (Katie), J. C. Calhoun, Ryan Calhoun (Rachel), Kevin Calhoun (Shelby), William Johnson, Amber Kemp, Nicole Samida and Brad Samida; and her sisters-in-law, Linda Schabo, Sandy 'Butch' Van (Gene) of Hey, Frida Bodde and Delaine Van Linn. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
