He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Koehn and Rose Marie Koehn (Pluger); his sister Ruby Ellenbecker; and his brothers-in-law, David Nespodzany, William McNeil and Jerome Ellenbecker.

He is survived by: his children, Shirley Taylor (David) and Mark (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Taylor, Olivia Kappell, Emily, Brady and Avery Koehn; and his sisters, Beverly Nespodzany and Virginia McNeil. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
