He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Kappell and Nona Kappell (Jury); and his brothers, Jim and Bill Kappell. He is survived by: his wife Roberta Harrison; his sons, Phillip Kappell Jr. (Carrie) and Raymond Kappell; his stepdaughters, Jessie Llewellyn (Todd) and Diana Resch; his grandchildren, Joshua, Anthony, Chantell, Jayden, Kendall Kappell, Gavin, Erica Llewellyn, Natalya Kientop, Taylor, Olivia and Jaxson Kappell; his great grandchild Grayson Kappell; his siblings, John Kappell (Linda), Joe Kappell, Christine Kappell, Kathy Laha (Tim) and Carol Brighum (Jim); his siblings-in-law, Harvey Harrison and Diane Kappell; and his mother-in-law Gladys Harrison. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
