She was predeceased by: her husband Edward Michalski; and her siblings, Earl Grannum, William Grannum, John Grannum, Alice Grannum (Walsh), Helen Grannum, Evangeline Grannum (Hense) and Richard Grannum.

She is survived by: her daughter Linda Thomer (Michael); her grandchildren, John and Michele Nick; her great grandchildren, Carson, Avery Nick and Natalie Wendt; her brother Robert Grannum; her sister-in-law Merrilee Wise (Bill); her niece Ginny Voelker (Matt); and her nephews, Scott Ariel (Cathie Doyle), Kyle Ariel and John Mason (Tami). She is also survived by three great-nieces and one great-nephew.
