She was predeceased by: her parents, Otto Springstroh and Minna Springstroh; her husband David Schmidt; her son Douglas; her son-in-law Michael; her siblings, Walter Springstroh (Eunice), Gerda Kuba (Tony), Lester Springstroh, Melda Behle (Bob), Edgar Springstroh, Carol Wenninger (Don) and John Springstroh; her brothers-in-law, Leslie Herman and Vernon Riehl; and also, Gilbert Schmidt (Dorothy), Richard Schmidt (Phyllis) and Janet Kasten (Alvin).

She is survived by: her daughters, Kathryn Bloomer (Frank) and Mary Miller; her grandson John Schmidt; her daughter-in-law Eunice Schmidt; her granddaughter Heather Weber (Todd); her great grandchildren, David, Grace and Eve; her granddaughter Stacey Stewartson (Justin); her great grandchildren, Thea and Gabriel; her granddaughter Krista Bieniek (Bryan); her great grandchildren, Birch, Asher and Hayven; her granddaughter Heidi Bohl (Justin); her great grandchildren, Sophie, Ryder and Lillie; her granddaughter Alissa Miller; her siblings, Nora Herman, Arlin Springstroh (Janet), Victor Springstroh (Pat), Myrna Witt (Ron) and Alice Riehl; and her sister-in-law Judy Springstroh. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
