He was predeceased by: his parents, Norbert Kappell and Leona Kappell (Dombrowski); and his siblings, James Kappell, Joseph Kappell and Diane Kappell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Justine McGuire (Gary), Lynette Gorman and Jennifer Schutt (Steve); his grandchildren, Sierra Gorman, Megan McGuire, Dylan McGuire, Cora Gorman, Alexander Schutt and Jameson Schutt; and his siblings, Dean Kappell (Michelle) and Jeanne Jadin (Barry). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews; and many other special family members and friends.
