Michael Thacker Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Michael Thacker of Neenah, Wisconsin, born in Detroit, Michigan, who passed away on January 31, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Ross Thacker and Thelma Thacker (Griswold); his parents-in-law, Max and Gerry Fredrich; his son-in-law Brian Jackson; and his sister-in-law Lisa Schroeder.

He is survived by: his wife Laura L. Fredrich; his pets, Goldie, Chip and Greta; his brother Dr. James Thacker (Mary) of Cincinnati, OH; his siblings-in-law, Don, Linda McDermott, Gary Schroeder, Tod Fredrich and Sara Hannigan of Clearwater Beach, FL; and also, Laura, Dr. Kelly Thacker (Green Bay), Erin (Scott), Hanson (Trempealeau), Cassie and Jackson. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A memorial fund is being established in Mike's name for St. Paul Lutheran Church (https://secure.myvanco.com), Theda Care Cancer Center.
