She was predeceased by: her husband William L. Bergstrom; her parents, Myra Wiese and Fred Wiese; her sister Pam Krock; and her sister-in-law Jennifer Sitter.

She is survived by: her children, Wendy Noskowiak (Alex), Andy Bergstrom (Lyndsey) and Leif Bergstrom; her granddaughters, Lauren, Brooklyn and Iyla; her sisters, Cindi Zimmerman (Rick) and Amy Thomas (Bruce); and her brothers-in-law, Wally Bergstrom (Marshelle), John F. Bergstrom (Dianne) and Richard A. Bergstrom (Jennifer).

In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established at the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley Region in the name of Mary J. Bergstrom.
