She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Staffeld and Eliza Staffeld; her husband Lyle Ernst; and her siblings, Kenneth, Harrison, John, Clarence and Edna.
She is survived by: her children, Steven Ernst (Heidi), Debra Leslie (James) and Julie Connelly (Mark); her grandchildren, Matthew Ernst, Melissa Adamany (Tim), Lindsay Ernst, Adam Ernst (Azela), Sarah Ely (Scott) and Amanda Fitzmorris (Patrick); and her nephew Gary Jenkel (Karen). She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren, other nieces, nephews, and many friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church (930 E Florida Ave, Appleton, WI 54911). A memorial service was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, a memorial contribution is appreciated to Mount Olive Evangelical Lutheran Church, Appleton.
