She was predeceased by: her parent Henry Samson; her siblings, Mary Ellen Murphy of Janette Holmes and George Samson; and her son-in-law Steve Morse. She is survived by: her parent Erna Samson (Lowe); her spouse Fred Schmidt; her children, Susan Morse of Waupaca, Laurie Baumann (Dennis) of DePere, RaeLynn Pansy (Bob) of Neenah, Rob Schmidt (Teri) of Neenah and Paul Schmidt (JoAnn) of Elkhorn, WI; her grandchildren, Brad, Chad, Zach, Danielle, Tricia, Josh, Andy, Amy, Brian and Allison; and her great grandchildren, Brody, Nolan, Kaleb, Reid, Silverius, William, Nicholas, Anna, Jace and Colton.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established in Maggie's name for St. Margaret Mary Parish.
