He was predeceased by: his parents, Manton Easterling and Lillie Easterling (Bowling); his siblings, Kenneth, Emerson, Clayton, Talmadge Easterling and Mary Bailey; his half-siblings, Jake Easterling and Monnie Layne; his parents-in-law, Kermit Ratliff and Vadney Ratliff; and his siblings-in-law, William C. King, Theodore Rowe and DonReeda Rowe (Ratliff).

He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Easterling (Ratliff); his son-in-law Teresa; his granddaughter Kelsey Van Cuick of New London, WI; his sister Pauline King (Easterling) of Princeton, WV; his sister-in-law Denise Easterling of Auburn Hills, MI; and also, Dad, Clete, Brian Van Cuick of New London, WI and Joy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.
