She was predeceased by: her parents, Hattie Messman and Jilian Messman; her husband Bob; her son Aaron; her siblings, Florence Schroeder and George Messman; and her grandson-in-law Alex Foss.
She is survived by: her children, Dawn Birkhofer (Brice) of Buffalo, WY, Laurie Krisher (Cal) of Scandinavia, WI and Mary Hahneman (Dale) of Appleton, WI; her daughter-in-law Mary Pheifer of Missoula, MT; and her grandchildren, Sandy Pheifer, Audrey Gabhart (Eric), Adrian Pheifer (Anna), Sarah Heyes (Stephen), Lindsay Brotzman, Ted Krisher (Courtney), Elissa Braaten (Logan), Sarah Syverson (Chase), Bobby Birkhofer (Allison) and Rebecca Foss. She is also survived by 32 great grandchildren.
