He is survived by: his children, Mike Maehl (Diane), Carrie Vander Linden (Guy), Jeff Maehl (Keith), Laurie Vanderboom (Mark), Todd Maehl (Jennifer), Pam Rippl (Mike), Kris Maehl Sopel, Kurt Maehl (Barbara) and Gunnar Maehl. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
