With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Oppelt of Neenah, Wisconsin, who passed away on January 1, 2022 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy Oppelt and John Oppelt; his parents-in-law, Joseph and Margaret Saelens; his siblings-in-law, Jean Bielski and Jay Woody; and his nephew Jason Hosmer.
He is survived by: his wife Kathy Oppelt; his children, Kelly Butzlaff (Chris), Jeff (Judy), Todd (Sherri) and Chad (Kim); his siblings, Julie Woody (Jay), Kathy Skubal (Al) and Jim; his grandchildren, Andrew (Cassy), Nichol (Nelson), Jeremy, Jordan (Olivia), Mikayla, Dory, Maria and Thomas; and his great grandchildren, Annalise, Ethan, Max and Aurora. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers a memorial is being established.
